Bereavement Listening Support
|Purpose of the role||This is a new community project that aims to offer a free, professional, volunteer listening support service in Nantwich and rural communities. It is not counselling.|
|What you will be doing||Actively listening and supporting bereaved and grieving people, and/or helping with general administrative duties.|
|Skills, experience and qualities needed|
|When and where||As required and agreed on.|
|Support offered||Supervision and support are provided. Supervision will be a requirement if volunteering directly with clients.|

|Other relevant information|
Experience in bereavement awareness, or in formal listening skills is not required, as training will be given.
A DBS check is required for those working face-to-face with clients. This will be at no cost to yourself, together with one reference.
