Our story
Through the People Helping People service, which was set up in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, an abundance of volunteers responded to the needs of our communities by supporting much needed community-based activities that enabled local vulnerable residents to remain safe and well.
1 year later valuing this experience we are committed to building upon this kindness in our towns and streets. We have developed a volunteer offer which includes an easy one step recruitment process, pathways to access training and support, that also provides a space dedicated to celebrating volunteer achievements, all accessed here via this website.
